Understanding The Traffic Exchanges
Traffic exchanges are a great source for generating a lot of traffic to your website. Traffic exchanges allow you to build credits for your site to be viewed in exchange you view other members websites. Credits are usually calculated on a 2:1 ratio, meaning for every two websites you view, you generate one credit for your website. You can begin to amass a lot of traffic with this method but there are a few problems with the traffic generated through the traffic exchanges. One of the issues is the fact that the visitors are not targeted, they are simply viewing your site to create hits for their own website. Secondly, you only have about 10 to 15 seconds to grab the attention of a potential customer, and also it can be time consuming. If you do not know how to utilize the traffic exchanges, you will without question miss the huge benefits that they can provide. The best way I have found to take advantage of the traffic exchanges is to create an attention grabbing squeeze page. A squeeze page is a web page designed for the sole purpose of getting a potential customer's attention and information for future correspondence. The way to stop traffic exchange surfer's in their tracks is to offer them something of value, for example a free ebook on generating traffic. If you are able to capture a visitors information, you are then able to contact them later by email to introduce yourself and what you do. The good part about using this method is that the clients you will receive have already shown interest in your product. You must be very careful in your approach once you start emailing your new prospect because they can alway choose to unsubscribe or ignore your emails. The next step is to maximize your time so that surfing is not such a tedious task. The program I use to maximize my efforts is the 10k hits a day program, It allows me to get 10x the results surfing the same amount of time. Using this system will increase the amount of hits to your squeeze page receives, which will then build your email list. Traffic exchanges also give credits for every person you refer, so it is beneficial to build a downline. A person in your downline will earn you credits when they join and for every time they surf. The more people you refer, means the less amount of time you have to spend surfing in order to build credits.
