How To Prosper On The Net Exactly one year and 6 months ago I decided to start my internet marketing career, with not much money or knowledge. Being extremely naïve, I was very confident that I was going to prosper on the internet rather quickly. Its not that I did not respect the industry, I had been in sales all my life and I saw this opportunity as another sales position. The obstacles that I would soon face would prove to be some of the toughest that I faced in my life. I worked very hard, I read many books on the topic, I gave 110%, yet I failed in every opportunity that I got involved in. I soon began to realize that I was doing everything wrong, I would never prosper on the net going the direction I was going. Many sleepless nights and thousands of dollars later I finally stumble upon the solution as to how to prosper on the net. I discovered that making money on the internet has very little to do with experience, background, or financial status and everything to do with having the right system. Before you can prosper on the net you have to find a system that works. You need a marketing plan or a regimen that you can put on paper to follow everyday. Hopping around from one program to the next is the fastest way to find yourself as one of the 97% of all internet marketers who fail every year. Once I became aware of what now seemed obvious, I was able to curb my enthusiasm for the OTO (one time offer), put together a plan to generate internet profits, and only then did I began to see results. The two internet marketing opportunities that helped propel my internet marketing career into the stratosphere were Linkscout and Traffic Tornado. Linkscout provides its members with their very own advertising page, so I was able to list all my business with linkscout and advertise one url. Traffic Tornado is similar to linkscout because Traffic Tornado use one url to promote 27 traffic exchanges and a few other free advertising web based businesses. My system was quite simple I used Traffic Tornado to promote Linkscout while using Linkscout to promote Traffic Tornado. It may sound a little confusing, but if you put on your thinking cap it will all come to you. The point that I am trying to make is that you can not follow every so called guru you come across. They are not all geared to teach you how to prosper on the net, Their main focus is to make a profit. If you want to prosper on the net, you have to develop a system that works for you. You need to not just promote the other guys website, Its ok to to promote affiliates, but you must establish an identity of your own. Find a system that works and personalize it to the point that it becomes second nature. Once you put a marketing plan together, you will be able to plug any product into that system to become successful. Without a marketing plan, you do not have an internet marketing business.
